Matt McFarland

Matt McFarland heads capital markets at Vest Financial, ensuring that the firm’s innovative derivative solutions can be adopted by participants within the product ecosystem including market makers, broker dealers, and exchanges. In addition, Matt supports Vest’s product development team by exploring novel derivative strategies, and partners with Vest’s portfolio management team, leveraging
his options expertise in the implementation of new products.

Matt has nearly thirty years’ experience in exchange-traded derivatives. Prior to joining Vest Financial, Matt worked for 15 years for US options exchanges, most recently at the MIAX Exchange Group from 2021 – 2023. He also worked at Cboe Global Markets for 13 years where he held various business development roles including heading up the exchange’s FLEX options offering.

Matt holds an MBA from DePaul University and a BA from Marquette University.
