Michael Daniel Andersen

Michael Daniel Andersen is a portfolio manager at Lægernes Pension (Medical Doctors’ Pension Fund Denmark). Michael is responsible for strategic and tactical asset allocation with listed assets, while in charge of managing a liquid overlay portfolio to improve the risk-adjusted return of the overall portfolio. The overlay portfolio is tilted towards defensive strategies (risk mitigation strategies) in the QIS space to provide convexity and diversification in context with the overall portfolio.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in economics and business administration from the Copenhagen Business School and is currently pursuing a CFA.
