Noriaki Saito

Noriaki Saito joined Global X Japan as an investment researcher in 2024, covering a broad range of research topics in investment strategy construction and product development from fundamental and quantitative perspectives.
Previously, he worked at Asset Management One for 18 years. From 2021 to 2024, he was a quantitative portfolio manager responsible for Japanese equity enhanced index and smart beta strategies. Prior to this role, he spent five years at AMONE USA as a US equity portfolio manager and global equity research analyst, conducting in-depth fundamental analysis for concentrated equity strategies while gradually expanding his research interests to include quantitative and data science areas. Before shifting to global equities, he was part of the Japanese equity analyst team for four years, covering precision equipment and capital goods sectors. Other previous roles included business development and product management in the institutional sales department. He is a CFA® Charterholder and holds an MBA from New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a BEng in Chemistry and Biotechnology from the University of Tokyo. Currently, he is a PhD candidate at the University of Tokyo School of Engineering, researching applications of informatics technologies in finance.
