Paul Donovan is chief economist of UBS Global Wealth Management.
Paul often publishes research or speaks in the media about topics of economic and political interest, including diversity, inflation, education, trade, inequality, and social change.
Paul joined UBS back in 1992 as an intern economist working in the investment bank. As chief economist, Paul sits on the global investment committee. He is a UBS Opinion leader and a UBS Pride ally. Paul is also part of the UBS Nobel Perspectives program and a supporter of the UBS Women in Economics program.
Paul has an MA in philosophy, politics and economics from Oxford University and an MSc in financial economics from the University of London. He is also an Honorary Fellow of St Anne’s College, Oxford and sits on their investment committee and development board.
Paul’s hobbies include amateur light heavyweight boxing and skiing.
