Paulo Werneck

Paulo Werneck is investment director at Vivest, the largest multi-sponsored fund
of the Brazilian market with over R$38 billion in equity. He has more than 40 years of experience in the financial market. Paulo graduated from the Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School, has an MBA from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a degree in Systems Analysis, in addition to several in-house technical courses.
Before joining Vivest, Paulo led the Investment Department of Petros, a
pension for Petrobras employees between 2021 and 2024. Between 2016 and 2020, he was responsible for investment management at Funcef, a Caixa employee fund Federal Economic. His career includes executive management positions in institutions renowned financial institutions, such as BTG Pactual, Haitong, Icatu Hartfort, ABN Amro, Citibank and Unibanco in treasury, distribution and investment management. He worked in the Economic Policy Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance. Paulo also works in company councils and committees, such as Invepar, GRU, CEDAE and others non-profit institutions.
