Pawan Patel

Pawan Patel is a senior quant/portfolio manager at Walleye Capital where he leads the Alpha Capture team. He specializes in Systematic L/S Equity strategies with alphas driven by fundamentals. As a member of the Alpha Capture team at Walleye, Pawan is responsible for overseeing a multi-billion dollar systematic equity portfolio trading globally across 20+ markets, as well as building quantitative research and infrastructure that is leveraged firm-wide. Pawan has been a Quant on the buy-side for almost 10 years and holds a PhD in Mathematics with a specific focus on Probability Theory and Random Matrix Theory.
