Peter Hermann

Peter Hermann is head of the global markets division in Goldman Sachs Bank Europe and serves as co-head of the Nordic Region, including managing the firm’s presence in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. He also manages the firm’s office in Copenhagen. Peter is a member of the executive board of Goldman Sachs Bank Europe, where he is responsible for global markets, consumer and wealth management and global investment research. He also serves as a
member of the EMEA Conduct Committee. Prior to his current role, Peter was head of the European Pension and Insurance Strategy Group, focused on risk management and investment solutions across asset classes for the firm’s broader European pension and insurance clients. He joined the firm in 2009 and was named managing director in 2012 and partner in 2016. Peter has more than 18 years of experience working in risk management and investment solutions for institutional investors.
