Rafael Sampaio

Rafael Sampaio is a specialist in strategic asset allocation studies for Brazilian pension funds. He is a partner of investment consulting firm PPS Portfolio Performance, which has USD30 billion under advisory. Rafael developed several models applied to the optimization of asset liability management, life cycles and fund of funds structures. He received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in computer science from the University of Sao Paulo, where he currently pursues his doctorate. He is also professor of finance at Insper and of investment courses organized by UniAbrapp.
