Raphael Sobotka

Prior to joining Amundi in 2014, Raphaël Sobotka was chief investment officer of HSBC Multimanager EMEA division in London from 2007 with responsibility for all aspects of portfolio management and research in the region, including major multi-asset and single asset class product ranges.

Previously Raphaël was head of financial engineering within HSBC Asset Management before setting up its Multimanager division in 2000. His financial engineering unit was responsible for asset allocation strategy to support multi-asset portfolio management and for delivering ALM services to institutions.
He graduated from Engineering Grande Ecole ENSAE (National School of Statistics and Economics), studied Economics at ENS Paris (DELTA), Finance at Paris Dauphine University (DESS 203) and is a CFA Charterholder. He has also completed the Global Executive Leadership Development Program at INSEAD.
