Ryozo Ishikawa

partner, Simplex Asset Management

Ryozo Ishikawa is now the partner at Simplex Asset Management. He has approximately 11 years of investment management experience, primarily focusing on derivatives and quantitative investment strategies. This includes derivatives based on interest rates, foreign exchange, commodities, and overlay strategies combining physical assets and derivative transactions.


Since 2001, Ryozo worked in the fixed income division at Goldman Sachs Japan, engaging primarily in interbank transactions involving options, ALM proposals integrating interest rate and currency swaps, as well as structuring funds utilizing total return swaps for financial institutions.

 

Ryozo received a master’s degree from Hitotsubashi University Graduate School of Economics. He is also a chartered member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan.
