Samira Niafar

Samira is currently focused on strategic asset allocation at total fund management within the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, where she develops portfolio recommendations at the total fund level. Previously, she worked on portfolio modeling for the top-down asset allocation. She also contributed to the quantitative strategies and research team for capital markets. Before joining OTPP, Samira gained experience as a management consultant in the energy sector. She holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
