Sergio Zanini

Sergio Zanini is partner and head of asset management at Galapagos Capital. Sergio has more than 15 years of experience in national and international financial markets and his career has spanned many roles. He was previously a founding partner of asset manager SAGMO Capital, responsible for the proprietary international trading desk of Itaú Unibanco in Brazil, executive director of UBS Securities in New York and a portfolio manager at BlueCrest Capital, a British-American hedge fund. He holds a degree in business administration from ESPM and a Master’s degree in economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).
