Taisuke Sugino

Taisuke Sugino is the chief investment officer of Vertex Investment Solutions, a position he has held since 2022 as a starting member of the newly launched company.  He leads the quantitative investment group for multi-asset, solution, and fixed income products.

With over 20 years of his investment career, he has held numerous roles at Dai-ichi Life, DIAM, and Janus Henderson, including general manager of the fixed income investment department at Dai-ichi Life and senior portfolio manager of the quantitative investment group at DIAM.

He holds a B.S. in mathematics from Waseda University and an M.S.E. in operations research and financial engineering from Princeton University.
