Vishnu Kurella

Vishnu Kurella is the founding portfolio manager of Volar Capital. Prior to this role, he was a senior portfolio manager in Citadel’s fixed income and macro division. Vishnu has been a portfolio manager for more than fifteen years, and he employs an investment framework combining macroeconomic analysis with volatility trading strategies. Vishnu has also been a guest writer for the Financial Times, for which he has authored articles focused on market fragilities. Before joining Citadel, he was an associate partner at Caxton Associates and previously a portfolio manager at BlueMountain and HBK. Vishnu is a CFA® charterholder and received a B.A. in mathematical economic analysis from Rice University.
