Yuichi Chiguchi

Yuichi Chiguchi is managing director and head of multi asset strategies and solutions (MASS) in Japan. He is responsible for leading the local multi asset investment team as well as BII investment strategist for client groups.

Yuichi joined BlackRock in 2013. Prior to joining BlackRock, he spent eight years with Asset Management One where he served as a senior fund manager and a strategist for Japanese equity investment. Previously, he was head of the investment planning division at ING Asia Pacific, ING Life Japan. Yuichi began his career at Meiji Life Insurance (now Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance) in 1990, where he gained a range of experience as an investment professional, including six years in credit, macro, and market research, three years in fixed income investment, and three years as European equity investment manager in the UK.

Yuichi earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Keio University in 1990.
